10. Keep yourself to yourself

Being yourself is great for making connections but no so much with keeping a job. Your quirks and idiosyncrasies might not sit well with your colleagues. It can rub off in the wrong way. As much as possible, keep your personality to yourself and focus on what you can bring to the table instead.
