Aside from condominiums and townhouses, apartments have also been one of the most popular highly in demand type of residential Real estate Philippines. Part of what made it popular is because of its affordability compared to other forms of housing. Although condominiums have recently become very popular among many Filipinos, from the wealthy to the middle class, apartments are still in demand because of its efficiency.

There are several types of apartments available in the Philippine market today. Some of the most popular the studio type apartments and the one-bedroom apartments. So what makes these types of apartment popular for many Filipinos?

Studio type apartments
The studio type apartments is one of the most popular types of apartments in the Philippines. According to many Real estate Philippines experts, the studio type apartment tend to be the smallest apartments with the cheapest rents in a given area. It usually consist of one large room which is a combination of living room, bedroom, and dining area. The bathroom, however, is often in its own smaller room.

Because of its size, studio type apartments are usually not appropriate for people with family, even a small one. This type of apartment, however, is perfect for non-married people, such as students and laborers. It can also be a perfect start for newly weds or for couples. And because of its affordability, Filipinos could easily find residence in major parts of the Philippines.

One-bedroom apartments
Moving up from studio apartments are the one-bedroom apartments. These types of apartments is slightly larger than the studio type apartment, typically because one bedroom is separated from the rest of the unit. What made it popular is that its price isn't as significant compared to studio type apartments while tenants could enjoy their privacy from the rest of the room.

Aside from the one-bedroom apartments, there is also the two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartment which is larger than the next. These types of apartments, however, are much more expensive than the smaller types of apartments.

Garden apartment complex
Other than the studio type apartments and the one-bedroom apartments, garden apartment complexes have also been a popular residential Real estate Philippines for many Filipinos.A garden apartment has some characteristics of a townhouse: each apartment has its own building entrance, or just a few apartments share a small foyer or stairwell at each building entrance. These types of apartments, however, are usually more expensive.
