A Diner Where Our Heart Is…

I am not sure if you can relate, but my friends and I usually prefer to meet up where it's homey and not noisy. These are the basic requirements for us when dining out to catch up and have a warm get-together. Of course, the menu has to be good and at the same time reasonable.

That is why it has been a habit for us to book lunch or dinner at Chii's Grill & Bar.

Last Saturday lunchtime, we booked a table at our favorite branch in Greenbelt 5. For some reason, their Greenbelt 5 branch is convenient to visit and service is really superb. Do you know that feeling that you are really attended to with sincerity? That's exactly how we feel when we visit the branch.

When ordering, you could not really go wrong looking at their menu. Why? There's really no pretense in their food photo versus whet they really serve you.

By default, we order the following best sellers every time we visit:

Bottomless Tostada Chips
Warm and crispy tostada chips with a flavorful house-made salsa.

Chicken Crispers
Strips of hand-battered chicken perfectly fried. This is served with sweet corn, honey-mustard dressing and home-style fries.

Fire Grilled Chicken, Bacon & Ranch Quesadilla

Fajita-marinated chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, mixed cheese and a kick of Southwestern spice in a toasted tortilla. Served with sour cream house-made pico d gallo and salsa-ranch dressing

When dining with your closest friends, the most important menu on the list should be a good chat topped with laughter and spicy stories. These are dining essentials that make life wonderful and interesting.
